Turns out cuttlefish have a splash of colour to look forward to when they relieve themselves of their mortal coil.
Reaper Cuttlefish are commonly dark red but they can come in all sorts of other colours, too. Being a cuttlefish, they can also change their colours and patterns to suit their mood, communicate or hide away by using camouflage. The Grim Reaper doesn't do any of that. He seems to be a complete one trick pony. Lazy bones!
Female Reapers reach about 20 cm (8 in) long while males are a little smaller. They are usually found in shallow waters off the east coast of Australia.
I wonder if Death secretly has a wardrobe full of colourful robes for when he gets time off work? I think I'd be more scared if he wore a gigantic Hawaiian shirt than the usual black.
Well, this reaper is Quite the fashionista! Though he/she doesn't change color, he seems to blend in with his feeding ground in the video. I prefer my reaper in black however!
Actually it does change colour a bit, you can its head and tentacles turn white when its hunting. It seems to go back to the purpley colour when it's looking at the camera!
